The Canadian government is finally getting its act together in regards to tasers. They see that these are indeed deadly weapons and their use needs to be restricted to cases where a person assaults the police or public or poses a serious risk of death or harm. No more tasing someone for speeding or just for the hell of it.

Well, at least that is what the opposition parties are trying to do. I guess we’ll have to wait and see if their recommendations are accepted.
